Where did you grow up?

Sheffield.
How did you enjoy school?
Im a geek so i loved learning stuff, but hated the restrictions.
Are you more of a city dweller or a country girl at heart?
City gal.
Are you more of a night person or a day person?
Night
Whats your favorite scary film?
Witches by Roald Dahl. its not my favorite, its just the scariest!
What do you get up to after dark?
sucking the blood of all the left over nu-ravers in Shoreditch.
Whats the most terrifying thing that s ever happened to you?
Nu Rave.
Your a innovative creative and this transcends into your designs. Do you find you have to discipline yourself within your processes, as a young creative, to see your label succeed as a business or do you just do now and worry later?
Im trying to learn to be a business, but at the moment its do now and constantly worry.
Alot of your designs employ quite harsh aesthetic principles, why is this?
Its not intentional, i just do what i love.
Who is to be the face of your new collection?
My fictional muse.
Who will be styling your LFW show?
Kate Ruth
What is the driving force behind your work ethic?
Im a work-a-holic; working class mentality. that and I can't not.
Describe your own personal sense of style?
Black, tight and slutty.
Is the concept of the craft more important to you?
I think they go hand in hand.both are extremely important to me. The ideas and concepts are so important and you cant work without them but the creation and craft is what drives my work forward.
Where do you mostly source your ideas and materials?
I love hardware stores! ideas can come from everywhere and anywhere.
What plans have you got for 2010?
I dont know yet.
What is it you feel you express about your own character through your clothes?
Which other young designers do you admire at the moment? There is so much amazing work around at the moment i cant narrow it down.
If you were to create a collection, money no object what would this look like?
This is such a hard question! Lack of finances do sculpt the way you design, but i do feel that this is a positive. i do like the idea of a flying dress though. actually screw that i want solid dresses carved out of black diamonds!
