my new hair colour

Prada Milan

High fashion house Prada refuses to acknowledge the current frugal recession climate with this rich and luxurious 2010 Spring Summer collection that showed today on the first day of Milan fashion week. ***Take note of the exotic fine silk printed shorts, trailer trash lips and to die for chain mail layering.**** Hot Hot Hot.

Eerie Eary

Katie Eary is pretty much the tits.

That is all.

What first got you into fashion?
I was always and Artist at heart, and so putting my mind to anything
creative was always enjoyable. But for me, The Saatchi Sensation
exhibition was a turning point in my life, i became an avid fan of all
things Brit Art! It was also a wake up call! How was i going to make
an impact? If Emin, Hurst, Quinn, Lucas (list is endless) where doing
all this cross examining of taboo subjects how could i make my own
impact. Everything seemed to be exhausted in all areas of
creativity... All this except maybe Menswear... And so... 14 years
later...

What inspires you to design such experimental menswear?
What keeps me going is Military attire! its so rich in beauty and Power!

What or who has had the most positive influence on your blossoming career so
far?
All the press has been incredible. Its good to feel the support from
such credible magazines. It keeps me going! I couldnt list names at
the fear of missing someones name out, I literally feel blessed with
the amount of Support i have received from everyone in the fashion
sector!

Any advice to aspiring young creative' s?
Dont worry, it's only fashion... haha

Is all the hard work you have to invest in your designs a labour of love or
more a means to an end?
Always a Labour of LOVE! The day i am not happy with what im doing is
the day leave. Happiness in the key!

Do you think you may one day branch out to women-swear?
Thats a secret...

How did it feel to see kate Moss wearing your clothes?
And Testino shooting them?
A turing point in my life, haha. It was amazing. As a first call in,
im pretty sure it couldnt be beaten!

What's next on the five year plan?
I have many plans, But im quite secretive and i do like surprise! so
keep and eye out!

Landon Fash week...so far

This Friday the LFW mothership was launched. And so for the all the following days since the capital will be a hive of activity, panic and high fashion for anyone who happens to cross its war path, which, like it or not...is everyone.
I've severly enjoyed myslef, the parties, the people, the beautiful creatures, the not so beautful creatures, all the voyeurism, the skepticism and the cynicism! Trotting around presenting and representing, hustling and bustling towards recognition and greatness, its every(wo)man for him(er)self. See below for an edited selection of that which inspired me, that which l now find myself lusting after and that which l would own, if there wasnt the minor hurdle of masses of legal tender between me and it. Sigh -
