Gemma Slack

I first met Gemma Slack a few weeks back when l was shooting some of her clothes for a feature on a new designers l am forever piecing together. The location was deepest Hackney Wick and she trotted all the way over one early Sunday morning, nearly managing to make it to our very secret whereaboots with no help whatsoever, if she hadn't taken a wrong turning at the last minute. Foiled. I soon found her, took her under my wing and escorted her back to the studio where we bonded over hardware and our shared hatred of university. Gemma didnt have the best time at LCF and left feeling somewhat disheartened and confused as to what to do with her oodles of talent and lack of guidance. She went her own way and has gone on to be the proud curator two amazing collections that got all the right people talking. Now represented by Blow PR her clothes are in hard and fast demand from fashion editor's a plenty. Shes sure destined for greatness and with her lovely laid back attitude and cute smile l'm pretty sure she should be able to design her self a spot in the stars any day soon ;0
